We are thrilled to announce that Restore4Life participated in the Atlantic & Arctic Lighthouse Weekly Hour, Season 3, Episode 4, focusing on “Ocean Literacy and Citizen Science.” This event, held on December 4, 2024, brought together passionate individuals and organizations committed to fostering ocean literacy and empowering citizens to take action for our oceans and waters.
This online webinar was a joint effort between BlueMissionAA initiative and F6S Innovation, featuring six Blue Economy projects: I-SEAMORE, Blue Economy Entrepreneurship (BEE), EFFECTIVE, ADT4BLUE, SHORE and Restore4Life.
Restore4Life was represented by Oriane Georges, Project Manager at F6S. The session highlighted the importance of engaging communities in understanding and protecting freshwater and marine environments. During her presentation at the Atlantic & Arctic Lighthouse Weekly Hour, Oriane introduced several exciting tools under development by Restore4Life. These include the Wetland4Life citizen science app, empowering communities to explore and document wetlands; the Solution4Life app, designed to assist stakeholders in environmental monitoring and decision-making; and the Blue-Green Space4All, a physical and online game promoting wetland awareness. She also shared plans for the Restore4Life Podcast, which will cover topics like citizen science, wetlands under threat, and the biodiversity haven, wetlands represent.
For those who missed the live event, a recording is available for viewing.
